METAL CLEANER ALTERNATIVES

Copper Cleaner :
Pour vinegar and salt over copper and rub.

Silver Polish:
Soak in boiling water with baking soda, salt and a piece of aluminum

Metal Cleaners:
Rub flour over surface with a dry cloth.

Aluminum:
Put 2 or 3 lemon halves or 1 grapefruit cut 4 ways and water into a pan along with the tarnished utensils. Place on stove over low heat for about 1 hour until stains are gone.

Gold:
Rub a paste of 2 Tbsp of baking sode and water onto gold woth a sponge or cloth and then rinse and polish dry.

Chrome:
Make a paste of 3 Tbsp of baking soda and water. Clean and rinse.

Brass Polish:
Dip a clean rag in vinegar, dust it with salt. Rub the brass. Polish with a clean cloth.

All Purpose Metal Cleaner:
3 Tbsp. diatomaceous earth, 3 Tbsp baking soda and enough lemon juice to make a paste. Rub gently into metal and rinse with water.
