Over the past few years we have had support from the Habitat Stewardship Program for Species at Risk to develop and complete a number of activities, which include:

	Habitat securement through acquisitions and conservation leasing of significant tallgrass prairie and oak savanna remnants Landholder contacts Developing GIS capacity and data management Habitat and species at risk monitoring and assessments Invasive species control activities Habitat improvement activities Producing various fact sheets, mobile displays and other information materials Producing a full colour booklet of the species at risk recorded on Walpole Island for community distribution Initiating the development of a tallgrass prairie video Webpage updates and enhancements
